Description:
This educational learning course provides an in-depth understanding of the Boston Marathon’s medical records procedures for the start and course medical stations. It is designed to ensure accurate documentation of all medical encounters during the event. Participants will learn about the structure, purpose, and critical elements of the hard-copy medical record, including patient assessment, treatment documentation, and transport protocols. Emphasis is placed on teamwork among medical staff and volunteers, proper record completion, and compliance with legal and medical standards.
